Direct purchasing process – Finish:
Finish Is a key component which determine the final jewel appearance attached is the entire process:
"White gold rhodium":
Gold in its origin is yellow; white gold is composed of bright metals taking over its yellowish color. To create a white gold shade we will mix the gold with various metals (silver etc).
In addition the jewels are going through a process called "rhodium dipping" to receive bright silver shade jewel. It is a chemical process covering the gold with a silver coat, a jewels which had been dipped must be maintained yearly to polish it and renew the rhodium cover, so the bright a prestigious look may be kept.
Yellow Gold finish:
Yellow gold those not require chemical treatment or covering, since the gold original color is yellow, therefore the finish process includes polish and cleansing of the casting layer making the jewels ready for setting.
Polish process order
When the rings casting process is complete , the ring is covered with raw rugged layer, in order the smooth the ring we use a device called "Trommler" afterwards polish it in the machine using gentle fibers.
The polish and filing process is done very carefully not to damage the ring.
In the polish process we try not to polish more than 7 % of the gold weight.
In addition to the cleansing and polish of the jewels prior to the setting, there I s one final polish for the finished jewels before its presentation to the client.
During the setting process mini scratches occur, sharp edges and dirt accumulates, therefore at the end of the setting process we repeat the polish and cleansing, also using the "Steam" device providing warm steam pressure which cleans fingerprints and dirt.
